Hey Blue !!! The Montreal International Fastpitch Challenge is one of the most
important competitions in Canadian girls' fastpitch. Close to one hundred teams from
eastern Canada and the United States meet in Montreal in early-summer for high
caliber competition, camaraderie, and good times.
This is an opportunity for qualified fastpitch umpires from Canada and the US to join in
with a group of seventy umpires mostly from Quebec who work this tournament for
good competition, camaraderie, and good times - the umpire way!
Umpires working the Challenge will receive the best of Quebec hospitality while
working great games and meeting new friends and colleagues. Umpires will receive a
T-Shirt, free meals, lodging and per diem. More surprises will come during the Opening
Ceremony.
Umpires new to this part of Canada will have time off to take in some of the many
attractions and sites of Montreal.
